1736 Map of Sheffield

If you look at some of the fields they have odd patterns in them which sometimes vary a lot sometimes the same. I would guess they are indications of what is growing in them or what they are being used for. But there is no key explaining them.

1736 map inset on 1823 version, which is very detailed and reasonably priced.
