A postcard for sale on ebay, which can also be seen at PictureSheffield https://www.picturesheffield.com/frontend.php?action=zoomWindow&keywords=Ref_No_increment;EQUALS;s13464&prevUrl= is entitled "Bell Hagg Road, Rivelin", but looks more like Bole Hill Road from the top of Hagg Hill.   Does anyone know where it is actually is?

Did Bellhagg Road, Walkley ever go further towards Bell Hagg?

I would agree with you, it's Bole Hill Road, looking towards Hagg House Farm with the wall running down to it from the road, and the tree on the left hand side, as shown on the map.

and Hagg House:

At the end of bell hagg road where it meets Compton street - there is the green space with the benches etc - think it’s called millennium green.

Does anyone know if the terraces houses towards the end used to carry on into that area and if so why they were demolished.

or has it always been open space?

The map of 1905, https://www.old-maps.co.uk/#/Map/432972/388784/12/100571, shows the terraces houses on the north side of Bellhagg Road going all the way to Compton Street, where Walkley Millennium Green is now.  They are not shown on the 1894 map and there are still there on the modern 1:25000 OS map, so I don't know when they were demolished.

If it says "Subscribe to see mapping at this zoom level" just zoom out,  If you see the modern street map then zoom in.
