Just watching the Roses match on Sky and they asked the question, "Where was the first ever Roses cricket match played" The answer was Sheffield, played in the mid 1800s at the Hyde Park ground. Did this ground later become the Dog Track?

Wow! That was quick. I can't picture the area too well. Does that place it where the Hyde park Flats are or somewhere else higher up?

Looks to be where Manor Oaks Gardens is on a modern map -Flash Earth
