History dude Posted July 24, 2020 Share Posted July 24, 2020 Brilliant video with lots of features still there. He does have permission from Network Rail to walk along the route. But you can see from the amount of rust on top of the rails that line is rarely used. Bit odd though he asks for comments to things he sees that he's either no-idea what they were or is insure. Lemmy117 Posted July 24, 2020 Share Posted July 24, 2020 Usually one train each way during weekday evenings from Aldewarke to Stocksbridge steelworks, with the occasional inspection and maintenance train, a far cry from when it was a through route.
