Peter Wigley

There is a plaque on a seat at the corner of Cowlishaw Road and Sharrowvale Road which is dedicated to a Peter Wigley b1948, died 1996.  I am pretty sure this is not THE Peter Wigley, publicity officer to the City Council, who I would have thought was a bit older than that. But searches on the Forums don't say anything more about that Peter other than his relationship with the film "City on the move".

Can anyone enlighten me? One and the same or not?

Reference here to a Peter Wigley, owner of a restaurant on Sharrow Vale Road. Sounds very likely to be him given the location:
