Walking out from Endcliffe Park this morning, not been down there for a while, heading west, crossed the Rustlings Road mini-roundabout and onto the path into Bingham Park. Except it’s not, the sign says Whiteley Woods? The very nice lady in the little cottage on the left (park-keeper’s cottage?) tells me that the ‘real’ Bingham Park is up that steep grassy hill bank on the left. As a family, we’ve always called this nice flat path section Bingham Park, and thought it became Whiteley Woods later on? Anyone else - or was it just us getting it wrong?
