Gabriel
Does anybody have any info or photos regarding 43-67 Ecclesall Road. It was Tomlinson’s Garage from 1910 to about 1960s and then it was Hoffmans of Sheffield. I believe it now the car park of Waitrose. Any photos will be great
madannie77
Some aerial views from Britain From Above: A wide view, with Oxford Mews on the RHS, near the vertical line, and the Ecclesall Road premises in the centre, with a pin marking the spot, and a zoomed in view of 43-67 Ecclesall Road. https://britainfromabove.org.uk/en/image/EAW025215 Looks like an interesting building from this angle. Surely someone must have photographed it before its demise.
madannie77
And a rear view from the air, from https://britainfromabove.org.uk/en/image/EAW006279 Again a wide view, with what was Oxford Mews on the LHS this time and the Ecclesall Road garage pinned, and a closer look at the garage. Gabriel
I have a photo taken from the outside of the building, but I thought somebody might have a photo of it before it was converted into Hoffmans
