Harry Parker was born Edwin Road Heeley 1904

His mother was Harriet Parker nee Tyzack, father Percy Arnold Parker

 Harry married Charlotte Shillito

We would like to know more about his army service, he was a regular soldier

he was demobbed after war. We know he was in the Kings own Yorkshire light infantry

Sorry Jean

I can find no records, sadly a lot of records were destroyed during the Second Word War Blitz.

Last year I obtained the service records for my mother's cousin who was killed in October 1944 in the Netherlands.  It cost £30 and took 3 months. Below is detail from the accompanying cover letter, so you can contact them if you wish to go down that route.  I'd suggest an initial email to them to find out their requirements.
