Take a look at this photo of Crookes from way back in 1914

I take it that’s the Punchbowl on the right hand side of picture?

It certainly looks like the Punchbowl to me.

I wonder if Shuttlewood's sold Rowntree's Cocoa?

Shuttlewood's chocolate was probably expensive.  The Food Control Committee prosecuted Joseph Shuttlewood in March 1919 (along with other "profiteer" cases) for selling 30 preserved eggs at 10 shillings above the maximum price.  Fined £5.
