Kevin FALKOWSKI
Has Anyone got any information on this Sheffield stone beer bottle name please
Edmund
Henry Hurdus (born 1843) of Hollinwood (a mile or so south of Oldham) was a herb beer manufacturer, and was operating in 1861. It was a family business with one son brewing and the other delivering. Henry died on 22nd July 1910. His son William took over the business and was still operating in 1947. The bottle therefore should be 1910 or earlier. I've not been able to find any Sheffield connection though.
