southside
This is part of an article published in the 1913 Times newspaper, it is about the alleged custom fraud that had taken place when a Sheffield Simplex car was imported into Australia in 1909. Wonder if the car is still in existence?
madannie77
Probably not, as there are thought to be only three surviving Sheffield Simplex cars. There is one in Australia, though, built in 1913: the museum listing gives a lot of detail about the car and the company. https://collection.maas.museum/object/213151
Edmund
The other two I believe are in Kelham Island Museum, and both in working order!

When we were delivering demolition bricks for the little mesters workshops they had the two old cars out on the front entrance, we got a preview of some the stored exhibits.
