Sheffield History
Photo is dated 1988. Looks like some industrial buildings in the far distance Can you place this location?

Sheffield History
So the two lads would be outside shops that were where the new sports centre is next to the Ice Sheffield place?

RLongden
Yep, I’ll go with the location and the Salutation pub was at the end, on the corner of Attercliffe Common and Coleridge Road. There was a great ‘Army and Navy’ and a pawn shop about where the boys are, if I recall correctly? My Dad grew up on Swan Street, which must have back-to-backed on these shops? Any answers on the motor, which the Asian ‘dude’ is draped over the bonnet of? I’ve worked it out, but any offers?
