First of all WELCOME to Sheffield History! Thank you for visiting and we hope you like what you find on the site. 

The site was created many years ago to document the wonderful history of Sheffield, it's buildings, streets, businesses, people and more.

Here you will find all kinds of photos, videos, memories of everything from the time you were growing up in the steel city, to the history of the city itself, and all the pubs, nightclubs, cinemas, shops, restaurants and more that you used to visit when you were younger!

We've tried to make the site as fast, friendly and helpful as possible and we have an incredible group of members on the site to help you if you can't find what you are looking for. There are some really amazing detective style history buffs on here that can hunt down that photo, that detail, that information on a place or person that you're looking to find!
