I'll take a stab at it, the flats were built on Martin Street so first houses to the right of them look like one side of Wentworth Street. To the right of that the shop that can be seen at the bend was on Bromley Street.

I am hundreds of miles away but it looks like those to the North West of Mushroom Lane ( marked ) have gone. ------------ https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/side-by-side/#zoom=17&lat=53.38542&lon=-1.48964&layers=168&right=ESRIWorld

The road to the bottom right is Bromley street (now gone) .The area to the bottom left was Crookesmoor recreation ground. Bottom centre is the top end of Wentworth street with Martin Street situated to the left of flats. the green area centre right was the original Ponderosa which has been expanded to incorporate Bromley street and the recreation ground.
Stringy72
This area changed radically didn't it? The old Recreation Ground was only about half the size of what now is The Ponderosa. Here's another good photo. .
