This is a fantastic photo of a lovely looking car heading towards Figtree Lane just off Hartshead/Campo Lane.

I hope he's going to turn right a little and park up as I don't fancy his chances of heading down Figtree Lane in a car that wide!

Looks like cars actually did head up and down Figtree Lane in the past! Must have been a tight squeeze!

A short way along Hartshead from Figtree Lane is a little known road called Saint Peters Close.

St Peters close can be seen through the archway on this building (the Old Bankers House)

The old bankers house was built in 1728 and the date is on the hopper on the right hand side of the frontage. It is believed to be the oldest brick built house in Sheffield. St Peter's Close is worth a short explore. Immediately on the right as you enter is a former door to the old bank and a little further on lies the small, old, water works pavement feature that is my avatar on here, and which I think is rather lovely :)

Fantastic stuff! Once this Coronavirus isolation is over I'm going to head down there for a nosy!
