Ground history

I am researching the oldest sports grounds and any original buildings still there. Of course Hallam have the oldest ground but I think they also have the oldest structure, namely the perimeter wall. This may have been built for the football club (though not cricket) in 1860 - their foundation year. Can anyone help with the following:

1. When was the wall built round the football and cricket pitches.

2. How high is it.

3. I believe it is not continuous, does it have many gaps?

Many thanks for any help.

Have a look at this; https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/side-by-side/#zoom=18&lat=53.3765&lon=-1.5319&layers=168&right=BingHyb also Map 285 on this website:  https://www.sheffieldhistory.co.uk/forums/topic/4008-os-maps-of-sheffield-and-district-1950s-over-300-of-them/?page=12&tab=comments#comment-23596 for the July 1951 survey.

In addition using Google maps you can get a good idea of how it looks now by typing in 'Sandygate' and zooming and scrolling to take a trip along the roads on the north and west boundaries of the site.

Certainly a very old wall of 19th century construction I believe.
