Nickel Blanks Buildings

we have a metallurgy consultancy company and we have an office in 5 smithfield, the old nickel blank works. We have done a bit of research and found some interesting stuff like a foundry worker use to live in one of the courts and some photos. We are keen to talk to people who are familiar with Nickel Blanks, we are interested in learning more about the layout and how the premises were used. Any additional information will be greatly appreciated.

 Looking down Smithfield in 1937.

Times might be hard but the kids can still raise a smile.

Just around the corner from Smithfield on Snow Lane you can still see some of the former back to back houses forming part of a factory front.
