John Hill
Can anyone tell me the exact location of the Triumph Steel Works? The only address I can find is “Shoreham Street” but the satellite images on Google Maps do not show anywhere there that a steel works might be located. It is a bit silly that I don’t already know this, as John James Saville was my great-uncle... John Hill.

John Hill
Thank you very much! You can’t be more precise than that. Looks a bit like student accommodation now on Google Street View, but that’s just a guess. John.

unrecordings
think you can pick the works on this photo prior to the bus garage being extended: http://www.picturesheffield.com/frontend.php?keywords=Ref_No_increment;EQUALS;s12345&pos=2&action=zoom&id=15266 Leadmill Street (on left) after the bus garage was extended: http://www.picturesheffield.com/frontend.php?keywords=Ref_No_increment;EQUALS;u09812&pos=12&action=zoom&id=108238 Might be more on Picture Sheffield, I just did a quick search of Leadmill Street. There are a couple more photos of the other side of the road to the bus garage
