Sheffield History
I find this place absolutely fascinating and also (and especially) all the homes and streets that it replaced and the history of the area
boginspro
Thanks for the film, I am afraid I still think the flats are an eyesore. I could never figure out why they were called Park HILL, we always new the district before the flats as The Park or perhaps Park District, I always thought Park Hill was up the hill the other side of Duke Street. Ah I never knew that. I always assumed Park Hill was the name of the bank/slope up from the train station
lysander
I only ventured in the place a few times times...it stank of urine and the lifts were unreliable, to say the least...as were some of its residents.
