Question for all you Sheffielders out there.. 

Do you regard this building as The Black Swan, The Mucky Duck or The Boardwalk?

And what makes you choose that one?

Yes me too, we knew it was the Black Swan, but always referred to it as the Mucky Duck the same  I believe applied to the old Black Swan that was damaged in the war and finally pulled down in the 50's.. Being away for a long time I never went in The Boardwalk and don't even remember it.

I wonder if the other two Black Swans (or were there more?) were ever referred to as the Mucky Duck?

trouble is seen many great bands in there under both proper names, i'll have to say the black boardwalk

The list of bands who have played The Boardwalk is immense!

Genesis, AC-DC, Simple Minds, The Clash, Sex Pistols, Arctic Monkeys, Little Man Tate, Milburn, Reverend and the Makers etc
