MadMick
We've just started a new Facebook Group called Park Hill Flats (Sheffield). Not to be confused with NEW Park Hill. I will be posting a number of photographs I took in 1969/70 in due course. You may not be on them but you may know someone who is. If you lived in the area or knocked about around the flats then join us. https://www.facebook.com/groups/169936683725785/ I also have a number of images taken around Sheffield, mainly town again in 1969/70. Sadly some have motion blur which I'm hoping to correct. These random shots have lots of Sheffielders on them. You might be lucky, you might be on them or know someone who is. I'll post these on the Sheffield History Group. They are all black white. https://www.facebook.com/groups/247589428675212/ I hope this is in order admins, if not take it down. Sheffield History
Hi and welcome to the site Many of our (many) members don't have social media but we have sections on both sets of flats on here and we'd LOVE to see your photos and memories in there that's for sure! What we offer over social media is the ability to easily search and find Sheffield places, photos, memories through our search facility which sadly isn't really doable on social media as easily, so things posted on social media tend to get seen for a day then forgotten wheras we're trying hard to make a full archive of Sheffield's history from it's beginning right through to last year etc Hope you enjoy it!
