Have a look at this shot of Sheffield Town Hall under construction

Anyone got any more?

I've got one before it was built....The Jubilee monument was moved to Endcliffe Park in 1905. The Town Hall opened in 1897.

To the right is St Pauls church in what is now the Peace Gardens.

History dude

They knew how to build buildings then for themselves! That's the dogs bodies that worked inside it. The rest of the city, for the people they represented, lived in run down dwellings or poorly made ones, that you won't be able to take pictures of today!
