Tiny little shop in a modern single unit just off the city centre....Neo-hippy fashion...Loon pants, khaftans, etc....I think it was on Matilda Way behind The Moor....

I think you mean Bubble and Squeak boutique on Union Street. It was owned and run by Charlie, Stuart and Jeff, who later went on to open The Western Jean Company. In between such time, they launched a high end fashion shop on Pinstone Street, called Stranger, which is where I worked as a Saturday Sales. I had my interview at Bubble and Squeak in 1975, being recruited for the launch of Stranger, which in contrast to the hippy style stock of B & S, sold Jeff Banks, Ozzie Clarke and other fab designers. The  ground floor sold menswear, where Jack took control, alongside Manager Kim Marshall, whilst the basement housed ladieswear and mens crazy platform shoes! It was a fabulous work place ☺️
