Sheffield History
Another fantastic video here from Patrick Dickinson as he takes a walk where most Sheffielders have never been and never seen, down the culverts of the River Porter in Sheffield
madannie77
I watched this one a while ago after seeing his Megatron films. Absolutely loved the way it showed me parts of Sheffield I knew nothing about and in some cases never knew existed. His enthusiasm is quite something as well. John Russell
I walked through part of this route back in the mid sixties as an adventurous teenager. I was pleased to read that Sheffield is planning to open up some of its culverted rivers. They're a great resource that will give the city even more character. http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/feature-bold-plans-to-uncover-sheffield-s-hidden-rivers-1-8421598
Calvin72
I posted about Patrick a few weeks ago in the 'videos' section. Anyone know him? Certainly a character and I'd be happy to walk around with him!
