Sheffield History
This is one incredible photo! It shows The Old Cottage at Attercliffe on the site of what would now be the dual carriageway outside Attercliffe School. It's so charismatic and interesting. One of the best old Sheffield photos I've ever seen

Unitedite Returns
Seems to have been well photographed, so presumably, it must have been something of a well known feature in it's time. Does anyone know when it was actually built, or is it's appearance just a reflection of SYHA's best efforts?
syrup
I have found this Picture of an Old Cottage in Attercliffe sadly no article reference but possibly a business of some kind.

LeadFarmer
The old Attercliffe bear baiting pit was located in this ancient cottage on the Common and was demolished in the 1920s. It was a farm, which in its closing days was known as Foster's Old Farm house. It was next to Attercliffe Vestry Hall.
