Aston S26 - History & Pictures Wanted ?

Hi I am interested in Aston S26, does anybody have any history or old picture of this area, or surrounding? I am interested in everything to do with it including swallownest, aughton and beighton.... would be great to see pictures of the area, and housing, shops and pubs etc

There were a couple of local history books published a few years ago by the history society in the area. Try the local library.

Swallownest and Aughton ( I seem to remember) are actually in Rotherham and until the boundary changes Beighton was a village in Derbyshire...so their local studies might be able to help .
