Leonr2z
Last I heard Runningman he lived on Sharrow Lane in one of the houses up by Huntingdon Crescent, but that must be at least 20 years ago. If it's any help he is still in the Sheffield Telephone Directory (just checked 5 mins ago but no address).

paulwake@windowslive
I was at SLS between 1955 and 1961. My first teacher was Mrs Cooper progressing through to Mrs Goodfellow then onto the junior school. Happy days. The play ground where we played rounders and the outside toilets. Such bliss in the Winter time. My teachers there were Mrs Dobson. Mrs Robinson and Mr Sharp and of course the boss, Headmaster Mr T. W. Davis. I remember the long walks, Winter and Summer to the swimming baths behind Abbeydale Road with Mr Wild. All those lengths of swimming to reach our 1 mile certificate. We also had to undertake life saving training as well. My classmates that I can remember were Averil Bellinger, Harvey Farber, Michael Mills, Larry Alcock, Phillip Akers, the terrible twins Maurice and Norman Parkin, who went on to become professional soccer players. Barbera Singleton, Stephanie Nicholson, Richard Fung,Peter Bramhall. Roger Seagrave, Kevin Moorwood, Janet Mitchell and around 30 others that I cant remember. I have happy memories of my very short time there although it seemed a lifetime at that age. My sister Janet Wake was there 5 years after me and then we progressed to Newfield secondary Modern School.
