Adrian Cook
Hi there. Haven't been on this site for a while as I haven't been buying lately. Ime in the need of your help again in the hope that someone could help dating this divers knife. There are no markings on the handle but it does have john nowill &sons sheffield England etched on the blade. The blade is S/S as it is magnetic, I have seen some made of titanium with a lanyard hole.as you can see this one hasn't and it has also a yellow pommel. I assume it's not that old but if anyone can put a date on it that would be great.thanks
boginspro
Hello Adrian, it looks very similar to the one still listed on Sheffield knives ( inc. John Nowill and sons ), available in stainless or titanium. Stainless at 143.80 so it looks like you must have got a bargain there. ------------- http://www.sheffieldknives.co.uk/acatalog/4-99.html
