Sod's law, my Find My Past subscription expires and then I discover something, I've come across some Court Rolls featuring my relatives, there's 16 results here that I am unable to see, would anyone be able to help?

About Lichfield Consistory Court Wills, 1650-1700

Discover your ancestor’s will from the diocese of Lichfield and Coventry, including parts of Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire. You will find the name of the testator, occupation and residence. Wills are valuable resources for your family tree.

Locating the original documents

The original wills are held at Lichfield Record Office. To obtain a copy of the original will or administration, download a copyright/order form from Lichfield Record Office. Complete this and post with the remittance for the cost of the will etc. to Lichfield Record Office. A copy of Lichfield Record Office’s Fees and Charges is also available online. Currently there is a standard charge irrespective of the number of pages.

Each record includes a transcript of the original court record. The amount of information in each transcript can differ, but most will include a combination of the follow:

Name of testator

Occupation

Entry date

Testator’s place and county of residence

Court

Document type

Additional notes

Thanks Dawn, Got to be honest I was expecting there to be more information than there actually was on there, but I definitely appreciate the transcriptions nonetheless

These are not Court Rolls, they are Wills.

The Eckington Court Rolls are available at Sheffield Archives from 1793 and are with the Sitwell Papers.

Thanks Bonnie, I've discovered these weren't what I was looking for, I will be making a trip to the archives to look at the Court Rolls as well as the Alderson & Dust solicitors collection, there's a ton of letters and other documents related to the Staniforths that I'm interested in seeing, I was amazed when I saw the list of items they have and I saw personal letters and correspondences on there!
