nevthelodgemoorowl
Hi folks, I used to know loads of Pewter, silver and Gold craftsmen. Where have they all gone ? I came across a bloke from S5 who worked in Rotherham a few years back but I've lost his addresses. I need a simple gold setting soldered, the prices quoted are off the scale. There has to be a Goldsmith somewhere who can help me out, Please ?
tozzin
There's an Independant jewelry designer and maker on the Albyn Works on Burton Road next to the old Stones Brewery, she may be able to help.

RLongden
I've only ever used three jewellers for repairs, alterations and ring sizing, etc. and I've found them all to be reasonable and did a good job. Maybe you've already tried these, but I'll post the links anyway: Morris Bywater, Pinstone Street MIchael Spencer, Orchard Square P.A. Jewellery, Commonside, Walkley Similar suggestions on an old thread on another forum here: Does anyone know a good jewellery repairer? Good luck! lysander
Our own Hallam University runs a very successful course on jewellery and may be able to help with names of graduates who are now working in the trade, locally.
