Guest mega_monty
They were interesting to watch on Friday when Meadowhall Road was flooded underneath the railway bridge, you could see the stranded cars being towed out by a green Landrover and people wading in and out the water. Guest plain talker
well, been watching the cameras this afternoon, and by gum it's been bad! looks from the pics above, that the wicker is erm... wikkkered! saw some astonishing and frightening (amateur) pics on "another" forum, of a tree, at the back of corporation street, being washed downstream, and knocking the wall of the bridge over! (behind the new flats at millsands?)
SteveHB
I have been keeping myself updated via the cams P.T, been watching my old workplace on't Wicker. Most of the old buildings on there have cellars, got me thinking about the damage it will have done to the stock kept in them. Wonder where the Wicker's resident rats will have gone to now. Just been listening to Radio Sheffield, Lady's Bridge is under threat of collapsing !!!!!!!
