tozzin
A friend of mine, who sadly passed away a few months ago, gave me this Small Arms Manual some twenty odd years ago, it has all you need to know about 39 different kinds or Rifles, Light Machine Guns, Medium machine Guns, Machine Carbines, Revolvers & Automatic Pistols. I suppose it was a must for the Armed Forces.
ManoutotCity
Most likely issued to Home Guard. Regular Army etc wouldn’t need a guide - they’d see the things first hand!
an old man
Hello I have two copies of this excellent book, both different editions, it is incidentally the only book with the correct information on how to use the scales on a Ross rifle back sight. and I have had the opportunity to trawl the reference library at the Pattern Room. It was not actually issued, look at the front cover, it was available as an extra aid to anyone likley to use small arms, price 2 shillings in old money!
