tozzin Posted February 24, 2015 Share Posted February 24, 2015 Had a jaunt down Mary Street yesterday, towards the bottom on the right had side men were actually steam cleaning the cobbles, I hope they do the full length but I can't see it myself. I know a good proportion of the works have been saved on the street but it's just like they've been " industrially cleansed" at one time you could walk into any of the yards of the works and see the worn yards and steps, now gates and locks bar the way, we're all not thieves, a good few of us are captivated by these Victorian works and to be kept out is very hard to take.
