Guest Shirley McLean Posted February 6, 2015 Share Posted February 6, 2015 We performed at this club - THE McLEAN SISTERS supporting Harry Secombe ( he was as funny off as he was on! Lovely chap!) Showaddywaddy had been in the previous night - and had used our dressing room. Unfortunately, one of the staff told us that there had been a vicious fight and the room had to be cleaned thoroughly! ' How did anyone get passed security' we asked ' Oh it didn't involve the public - it was between the band' came the answer! We were really careful about where we put our belongings! Sheffield should be very proud of this club - EVERY act / band on a world stage scale used to want to play this club! I simply don't know how the bookings were achived - but it was GENIUS!
