Guest Keeton Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Hi, other than the formidable 10 year strike at Keeton and Sons does anyone have any information re -people, sites etc. Keeton and sons evolved from Keeton and Skinner, Royds Mill Foundry, Attercliffe and the purchase prior to that of Attercliffe engineering. The people I am particularly interested in are:- Robert Eades Keeton who was apparently sacked from Keeton and sons for stealing scrap. (Apocryphal) Paul Keeton late of Thomas Firths and founder of the above. Charles Keeton who was left shares on Paul's death and stayed with the firm after sell out to Firth Cleveland and who went to Isle of Man and Guernsey.
