Guest Richard J Webb
Does anyone know if this is the 1890 1:500 Sheffield town planning map of the whole city? Is it worth buying? http://www.stepping-stones.co.uk/product_info.php?prodid=5139
SteveHB
Suppose it depends if you you want the "whole city" at your finger tips, personally I have never had any problems navigating this site to view the 1890 - 1:500 Sheffield Town Plan ps: I would like to see a sample from the Stepping Stones map. Guest Richard J Webb
I'm using old-maps.co.uk which you recommended to me last week, but it's frustrating using the small viewing window. I don't really want to pay £9.99 a month for full access, but if the stepping stones map is the same map at the same scale I'd buy it for £9.99. Now I'm hooked on looking at the maps there's no end to the things I want to look up!
