The building on the right with the dome on top, does anyone know what it was and what went on in there ?

Any idea on when it was built and demolished ?

The building was a bank. The United Counties bank, The Birmingham District and Counties Banking Co. Ltd, I am not sure who ran the bank in more modern times, it might have been the Westminster Bank.

Of note are the mis-spelling of the road name and the tram tracks leading into the western side of Fitzalan Square (was this called Market Street at the time?) which were never completed.

Part of the Fitzalan Market Hall is in shot as well

Well the road is where the bank used to be, the buildings on the corner now occupy the place formally the Classic cinema
