Blacky
My father passed away last Tuesday and following conversations with family it appears that he may have played trumpet for a Sheffield band that went by the name of Birthday Cake? Not sure at what time this would be have been. he was 60 so was more than likely late sixties/early seventies. Would look forward to hear from anyone with any information about them... Thanks, Lee

Thanks, Lee My cousin, Pete Acaster who sadly died in 2017 was a/the drummer in BC. His grave headstone in Intake Cemetery in that district of the City is unusually artistic..and very appropriate ...worth a visit for any fans of the Band ...or just for any musical enthusiasts. Here’s what maybe a rare, if not unique, photo of the band...hope someone is able to recognise others on it. (Pete is the chunky, straw- haired lad on the right hand side of the picture..as viewed).
