History dude Posted January 11, 2014 Author Share Posted January 11, 2014 It was nearly always platform 7 for these paytrain services to Manchester. The main platforms being reserved for the 45's and 47's with their ten coaches. Gee those 45's - 145 tons shaking the ground under your feet and the smell of the diesel, from engines and DMU's ticking over.... Such memories....
