Indeed, Vincent Furnier, son of a preacher, AKA Alice Cooper, or if memory serves they were then called The Alice Cooper Band, no one individual was meant to be Alice - Ballard of Dwight Frye

I guess I Love It, I Love it to Death ... probably.

Vincent Damon Furnier

So - Dwight Frye then.

Took quite a few clues to get there though :(

Ballad Of Dwight Fry.!

There was a reason why the 'e' was left off Dwight Frye.

Probably for boring legal reasons, I always thought the song was as id Dwight Frye, the actor was singing about a character Dwight Fry such as he might have been asked to play on screen.

Mystery question.

I have to admit that I did not know who the person was in Richards Avatar,

so how did I find out that it was Dwight Frye ?

Fascinating.

I'm going to think about it while I'm at work today.

Well I thought of a couple of ways.

I tried this one first

Firstly, I suppose you had already made the assumption that the religious man's son would be Alice.

Then from the first avatar, that it was most probably an actor, and obviously one from years ago,

So I searched B&W images for

Alice Cooper - with - actor, Film star, silent movie star etc etc until I found the same image.

The latest image however is a different kettle of fish. You had no clue at all. So I'm thinking maybe there's a way of finding out what the original uploaded picture was called before it was given it's SH name. (stumbling around in the dark really) :(

Tweel ? if I'd said "crash and burn" that might have made some sense + 1935 ....

No idea how you got this, lets see how much it makes the brain of Vox tweel and burn ...
