Recommended Posts

Merry xmas to all of you.

Anyway, one of my ansestors died in 1922 at number 41 Stafford Street in Sheffield. Map number 68 shows nearly all of Stafford Street, but, not quite number 41. The map i need is one that is missing off the website. Can anyone help please?

Name change ..

But I don't think they changed it to Belmont Road, it became Glencoe Road.

Sorted it now .... #41 is marked in green.

1901 directory has 9 houses on Stafford Street (31 - 47), as seen on the 1903 map,

at a later date a row of buildings were added to the corner of Rhodes Street, thus adding a number 49 to Stafford Street, to make 10, (31 - 49)

Good question togger, the quick answer is 'we do not have a large scale map that covers the area'
