53 Gell street is where the University Heath Service is now - see 1890 map:

In 1899 a new company was set up, Sambrooks Limited, to incorporate Alfred Sambrook's jewellery business:

Alfred Sambrook was born in Cannock in 1869, his father was an Iron Puddler and his brothers were Edge Tool Grinders, which Alfred also became. He moved to Sheffield and in 1891 was an Edge Tool Grinder living at 62 William Street. By 1901 he had progressed to become a Manager in a Gold and Silversmith's, living at 25 Ranmoor Crescent. In 1911 he was Managing Director of a Limited Company (Motor Works) at 17 Clifford Road.
