Hi,

I was down the shops in Heeley and heard a familiar noise, very rare these days. Looked out to see a convoy of Deltics heading south towards Chesterfield, probably going back to Barrow Hill. Did anybody get any pictures?

The locomotives were named after the triangular (greek letter delta) layout of their two-stroke diesel engines:
