A Little Challenge

Just as a bit of a challenge for those that like them.

It is for the purposes of this exercise 1847. Define, as precisely as you can the boundries of the following districts please :

Moorfields

Holliscroft

Eldon

Dyers Hill

Heeley

Open to all except SteveHB, Steve will be in receipt of the "answer" and may be able to apply some "map-magic" to illustrate the answer.

Any guess to start - then we can narrow it down.

Any maps from the time giving a general clue please?

This map shows the Ecclesiastical Parishes covering some of these areas:

This map was compiled by Eric Youle, I think. I don't what period it represents, and parish boundaries did change over time.
