kmegan
Does any one have information on George and Mary Starkey who were running this pub at the end of the 19th century? In 1901 they were running the Bay Horse Inn at 9 Willey Street, Brightside and later on the Crown Inn in the Wicker. Any details would be much appreciated. kmegan
Thank you very much to Dunsbyowl for taking the time to post such valuable information. Just wondering if you know anything about Thomas Johnson who was Mary Starkey's first husband and also Elizabeth Johnson who was Mary's daughter. Elizabeth married Edward Beckitt in 1882 but died in 1883 I know Edward remarried but have no further information. Any help would be much appreciated.
