Bayleaf
Got this from the HAS newsletter. Look out for Historypin, a global map on which historical photos are virtually ‘pinned’, which has just been re-launched with new tools – it can access photographic archives, allow users to create their own collections and ‘tours’, and add stories, film and video. It is a powerful digital social enterprise, with the aim of providing the tools to inspire conversations across generations and cultures, and encourage personal contact. The site is free to use. See www.historypin.com.
RichardB
Nice idea, with a little effort we could fill Sheffield on there ... I wonder where "Cole Corner" was because it was never called that to my memory.
