Guest gpl777
Hi - the site search facility doesn't seem to work for me. It keeps throwing up an error message suggesting I refer to help pages, but I can't seem to find anything relevant. Having recently posted a query about Wolf Wheel, I've just found through a Google search that there was already detailed information posted on the website under a topic specifically on Rivelin Wheels & Dams. I've seen another posting about search problems but I can't work out how to access the Sheffield History Google Search Tool mentioned in the advice resulting from that posting. Help! vox
Hello - yes, there are search problems from time to time as a result of sharing the server with another forum. The Google search is unaffected, and can be found on the left hand side, immediately above the topic title. (Probably not as clear as it could be)

It's kind of you to suggest that maybe it's not as clear as it could be, but I think perhaps a trip to my opticians is overdue!
RichardB
I've been to the opticians and I'm not exactly new around here - it's not clear, even to me, old posts may have referred to old methods. My signature block tries to send people to the white box underneath the advertising banner - where it says Google Custom Search. Try this : type in who can tell that will find anything with the words, the result is rubbish. Now try "who can tell" much better.
Syl
I am also having problems with trying to view new content I know it happens at times but I have tried several times in the last week and all I can get is the home page. I was going to reply to a topic from a while back but I just can't find it as my content is bringing up the error message as well. As long as my memory holds out I will keep trying though.

It's been like that for about 2 weeks now. Hopefully it will soon get put back to normal
