madannie77
Jelly D'Aranyi entry in Encyclopaedia Britannica on line. This gives her year of birth as 1895, as does the New Grove Dictionary of Music & Musicians. I would have liked to have heard her play live, if all the reports I have read of her playing are to be believed.
THYLACINE
Jelly D'Aranyi - Hungarian violinist - what a talent! When I saw her portrait, my knees went to jelly. I wish I had kept up my violin lessons at school now
