The temperature in Iowa today at 1 am was -19.6 C and by 3 pm it had reached -0.5, no wonder she was a bit concerned. How has the winter weather been in the old home town and how has that affected travel ? It's generally been quite good in the frozen north except the last few days - it was -6 in Hexham on Tuesday. Hi RB. Minus 6 C at 6.30 am from the 14th to the 17th, a lot warmer now though +1 C yesterday and this morning. Transport up here has been running as normal. W/E.
