DaveH
Hello and Welcome to the Site; now I've managed to work out what a SAHM is, I feel I can say Hi. (AFAIK had me going for a while as well ... SMBH even) Chip in, wherever and whenever you can, it's what makes the place tick as Bignose says Scratching Me Baldy Head ! Welcome to Sheffield History and thank you for making that first introducyory post. SAHM ? AFAIK ? DD and DS ? Are you sure you are from Sheffield ? I was born here and have lived here almost all my life and speak the local dialect to perfection (sometimes by accident when i really should be trying to put my "posh voice" on), but this is like a foreign language to me. I have no idea what these words / acronyms mean. My worst subject at school by far was French When the French teacher, Man Chapman, asked me why I was doing so badly at it my reply was "French, - it's like a foreign language to me" lol
Bayleaf
SAHM = Stay at home Mum? DD=Darling daughter? DS= Darling son? AFAIK that's my best guess. Give us a break Mummy, we old codgers need it spelling out!
